What is Bad Breath?
.
Altcorp, with Alt standing for Affinity Laboratory Technologies, has done considerable research on the subject of bad breath.  Altcorp found that bad breath cannot be identified by smelling your own breath.  The only way to test for bad breath is to have someone who is your friend or loved one smell your breath and tell you directly that your breath stinks.

What you are smelling, according to Altcorp, is rotten food particles and byproducts of bacteria.  Over 90% of bad breath comes from volatile sulfur compounds These sulfur compounds come from the amino acids methionine and cysteine found in the plants, poultry, fish and animal products we eat and digest.  These amino acids are then broken down by bacteria into maloders.  The bacteria used in this breakdown process becomes trapped in the papillae of the tongue and in the crevices between the gum and the teeth, this results in "bad breath."

Alternative Dental Products
Com-Pete Antioxident Toothpowder
ComPete50 (Coming Soon) ComPete50 toothpowder is revolutionary in that it is an antibacterial agent that does not release toxic gases. The new process uses Electro-Magnetic Energy to clean and kill the bacteria.

Why Are Current Bad Breath Products Ineffective?
.
Altcorp found that no current products eliminate the bacteria or the odor.  Most products only mask the odor and are effective for up to an hour.  Bacteria have enzymes that give them the ability to digest food and decompose the food into nutrients for themselves and expel byproducts that contribute to bad odor.  The solution seems simple by just killing the bacteria and the odor should go away.

Unfortunately, it is not that simple because today's oral hygiene products are antibacterial agents that are supposed to kill bacteria but they do not do an adequate job.  Instead, they leave surviving bacteria to develop resistant genes to withstand the action of the antibacterial agents.

How Can You Fight Off Bad Breath?
.

There are two solutions to the problem of resistant bacteria.  One of the solutions is to use Electro-Magnetic Energy (EME) instead of chemicals to keep pathogenic resistant bacteria from growing and to use EME to absorb malodors.  The second solution is to use Effective Microbial Energy (EME) to compete by enzyme attack against the pathogenic resistant bacteria.

Doctors Health Supply is the first known Alternative Medicine company to introduce EME technology to Health products.  A company in Kansas called DentEME has developed a combination toothpowder and mouthwash to compete with pathogenic resistant bacteria and other resistant bacteria in the mouth.  To learn more about this process Click Here.  Volatile Sulfur Compounds and Polyamines are destroyed by brushing with the toothpowder and rinsing with the probiotic mouthwash.  Even morning breath is reduced significantly by using the combination toothpowder and mouthwash Compete50.  We have passed the Altcorp Scientific test for bad breath elimination.  We dare other chemical oral hygiene products to pass this test.  Today's conventional products will fail because daily use of chemicals develop resistant bacteria.
